RUN TO THE MOON’S CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY

SPB > CSR > RUN TO THE MOON’S CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY

Run to the Moon challenge begins today, organized by a group of companies from Valencia and led by SPB. The App is now available. This App will sum up all the efforts made by the employees and will be destined to a shared challenge, completing the distance from the Earth to the Moon but with a social aim, raising funds for the Hospital Optimist Awards.

This initiative is organized within the Valencia Shines Project: Solidarity and Healthy Organizations with support from the Sustainable Economy Council, Trade and Labour Production Sectors, Educational Council, the Valencian Institute of health and security at the work place (INVASSAT), the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia IBV, the Want team from Jaume I University, Quimacova and the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV). The action arises in order to promote work standards that contribute to the well-being, optimism and happiness of our employees.

The organizers emphasize that Run to the Moon does not only contribute to the promotion and stimulation of a healthy environment at the work place, but it also encourages communication, teamwork and collaborative effort between employees.

Our first joint action will be taking place on the 4th of March, a walk through the old riverbed by the Turia River, joined by a representative group of workers from all the other companies who participate in this challenge.
