SPB > CSR > THE II PEOPLE WHO SHINE SOLIDARITY GALA HAS RAISED MORE THAN 17.500€ FOR SOLIDARITY CAUSES

Last Friday, the II People Who Shine Solidarity Gala was held in Valencia organized by People who Shine: Healthy and Solidary Organizations, an initiative lead by SPB with almost 50 companies and organizations which aim to promote healthy organizations within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility and implement Sustainable Development Goals by getting people involved in this action.

At this event, more than 17.500€ was raised from 23 companies that participated in the 2018 challenge. This money will go to help Hospital Optimists Awards and the Ronald McDonald House in Valencia.

The donatives have come from the “Run to the Moon” challenge. An app that allows participants to add voluntary kilometres through physical exercise, mindfulness and/or activities related to the SDGs. All these actions with the body, the mind and de social responsibility that have been shared on the app have resulted in the charity contributions.

At the Gala, the 2019 solidarity causes were announced. There are going to be 10 in which People who shine is going to collaborate through different initiatives. In fact, all the solidarity kilometres collected in the first four-month period of 2019 should go to help to “Mamás en Acción” association.
